Motorhome Jack Information
This page is to explain the types of leveling on our motorhomes. There may be a section that doesn't apply to the RV you are renting.CLASS A PURSUIT 31BH
* The Hydraulic Stabilizer Jacks are designed to stabilize the RV. The tires should never leave the ground.
* Our Class A Pursuit 31BH come equipped with Hydraulic Stabilizer Jacks. If the renter chooses to use the jacks, the renter understands that they are not covered under the insurance and customer takes full responsibility in the care of them.
* Where you use the jacks can be a concern. A concrete surface is best, but blacktop can be used with caution. If ambient temperatures are high, you will likely create a depression in the blacktop with the weight of the motorhome concentrated on the relatively small pads of the leveling jacks.
* Attempting to use the Hydraulic Stabilizer Jacks on a soft dirt surface will prove futile, as the jacks will just sink into the ground. Be sure you have a solid footing when you use this type of RV Leveling system.
* Always check that the jacks are up before driving the RV. This could damage the jacks and cause you to have to cut them off of the RV.
* When using the Hydraulic Stabilizer Jacks, always use the automatic setting. This will help you avoid twisting the unit which may cause damage to the structure.
CLASS A PURSUIT 27XPS
* The jacks are designed to stabilize the RV. The tires should never leave the ground.
* The Pursuit 27XPS comes with stabilizer jacks attached at the corners of the RV. You crank them down by hand until you have some of the weight of the trailer applied to the jack.
* A common accessory to assist in raising and lowering screw type jacks is a cordless electric drill. Used to quickly raise or lower the jack, a drill with a socket can save both time and effort!
* When using the levelers, always lift either one complete side or one complete end of the RV. This will help you avoid twisting the unit which may cause damage to the structure.

ALL OTHER CLASS C MOTORHOMES
* All other Class C motorhomes do NOT come with any type of leveling. Most campsites are fairly level. If you feel that you need leveling blocks, we have an assortment in our Parts Department that you can purchase.
